Dr. João T. Andrade is an Associate Professor at the Social Sciences Department, Humanities Centre, State University of Ceará, and a researcher working within medical anthropology field. He has conducted studies in the areas of Humanization of clinical care, Traditional and Complementary medicine, Indigenous health and Qualitative research in health. Dr. João T. Andrade was a Visiting Professor at the Center for Critical Qualitative Health Research, University of Toronto from 2011 to 2012.
