Key ways to engage with the CQ community
CQ Doctoral Discussion Group:
Join us for our reading group, Humans and Health in the Anthropocene: Expanding Methodological Boundaries PART II. The books we choose challenge normative categories of human health as problematized by scholars in fields such as disability studies, queer studies, feminist studies, critical race theory and environmental and posthumanist studies.
Methodology Mentorship:
We will host mentoring conversations with CQ Academic Fellows about the questions and challenges that arise in doing critical qualitative research. We welcome conversations about navigating institutional barriers to critical and minoritized scholarship and ways of knowing, including research that challenges or does not fit neatly within dominant methodological traditions. These sessions will take place on alternate months to the discussion group meetings.
