CQ Fellows engaged in COVID-19 research

CQ Fellow, Dr. Naomi Thulien has received a knowledge synthesis grant from Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) for her project Pandemic-Proof: Synthesizing Real-World Knowledge of Promising Mental Health and Substance Use Practices for Young People Who Are Experiencing or Have Experienced Homelessness. CQ Fellows, Drs. Elizabeth Peter and Shan Mohammad have received support from the University of Toronto COVID-19 Action Fund for their research aimed to understand nurses’ experiences of moral distress during the COVID-19 pandemic. Check out their article in the U of T news here. 

CQ Fellow, Dr. Blake Poland has been awarded funds by the School of Cities & Vice-Provost Research, UofT (Toronto COVID-19 Action Initiative) to engage in a research project titled Connected Communities in a time of Physical Distancing: Community-led responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic in the City of Toronto.
